WEDNESDAY, JUNE 23, 2021, 5:59 P.M.

A beautiful Wednesday afternoon, sunny, slight breeze and 82 degrees. All is quiet around here right now. The birds are not around, nor is the squirrel or chipmunk. No one is walking their dog(s) and very little traffic. I guess all are home, eating dinner and watching the news.

The above photo is Milo. Did I mention that he is in his terrible twos’? Today he has been into everything, including one of the lower kitchen cupboards. I have locked him in the closet while putting clothes away, and in the utility room when finishing up the laundry. He has laid on the clean clothes, thinking he could take a nap, (didn’t happen), and tried to help himself to one of the ribs that we had for dinner. Now he is in the living room watching the news with Tina, I think. She just said NO! so I am assuming that is where he is. He is such a good kitty! Come bedtime he will think it is time to play and then beg for treats. Sierra is right there with him at that time, but since she is 7 she has more manners. Besides, she only wants her kitty food and treats, and just let her lay on her side of the bed and snooze. She prefers playing around 5 in the morning. That is when they think we should be up as they want breakfast. So they play in the blinds, run across me, (and Tina if they are in her room), nibble at any finger or toe that happens to be sticking out from the covers, knocking things down. Tina usually finds her alarm clock under the bed. Great cats!

Have a super Wednesday afternoon and evening. Stay cool, drink fluids (water), rest, relax, laugh, be cheerful, have fun and be blessed

THIS IS MONDAY, JUNE 21, 2021, 2:00 P.M.

Good afternoon. Here we are gathering clouds for an afternoon and evening of possible thunder storms. The temperature is 88 degrees and we, at the moment, have mostly sunshine. It is hot and humid so nice to be indoors where it is cool and comfy. However, the wind just came up and is blowing pretty good by Tennessee standards so maybe the storm is getting close.

The cute puppy above is named Roxie. I am not sure of her breed, but I think a shiih-tzu . She is a sweet dog, friendly and loves to be petted and played with, go on long walks and meet other people and their dogs. She shares her home with a cat and a Hedge Hog named Jack. The cat is fairly new and so far appreciates being left alone. As far as I know its’ name is “CAT”. She spends most of her time under the bed, coming out to eat when no one else is around. Since Mom and Dad are at work all day the animals are left alone and seem to get along just fine. All are healthy and happy when their human parents return home.

Today Tina is off so she has painted a corner of the kitchen and replaced a drawer front to the island. Such a busy girl. I haven’t been as industries, only cleaning up the kitchen and doing the normal household daily chores. We enjoyed our morning coffee watching the news and birds and squirrels who are so entertaining. I haven’t seen the chipmunk so far today. But he might be staying out of the heat or else has been out and about when I haven’t been watching. Right now there is no animals out there at all so that is a telltale sign that the storm is near.

have a marvelous, productive, adventurous, cheerful, fun, kind, positive and blessed Monday

FRIDAY, JUNE 18, 2021 5:53 P.M.

A sunny, very warm, and breezy Friday Afternoon. The temperature is 88 degrees, which is better then 118 in Yuma or 116 in Las Vegas. I feel like we are so blessed here.

This is Father’s Day weekend. Lots of plans of picnics and trips to the beach, special parties and amazing gifts. Dad’s will be over the moon with the cute, useful and fun things their children will bestow upon them. A time to be especially thankful for your father. Some fathers are here to enjoy their family and some have passed away. but are still remembered. Where ever your father is, enjoy and be thankful for hi.

Have a wonderful rest of your day and a Happy, Safe, Healthy, fun, enjoyable and blessed weekend.

Thursday, June 17, 2021, 3:43 p.m. mostly Sunny, 83 degrees, a slight breeze

The above photo is of the Tennessee Walters/Barberena family. That was Jerry’s birthday and we were all

there to celebrate and eat cake and ice cream. The main point of having a birthday party. It was before Covid-19 so no masks and still the freedom to gather and enjoy the blessing of celebrating everyone's milestones.
Now things are opening up so we are looking forward to being able to go a few more places and seeing more friends and family. We are hoping that Little League has summer games that we can go watch the boys play. And throw in a picnic or two, 4th of July is a good time for that. All good, fun, adventurous and energizing things to look forward to. A shopping trip to the antique malls in Clinton and Sweetwater, the outdoor orchestra concerts, yard sales, and whatever else is offered close to home. Sunday is the first day of summer and Tina doesn't do summer well. I doubt the yard sales have air conditioning. I guess I am on my own for those.
Have a super day, filled with all the good things that this time of year brings. Stay cool, stay positive, stay safe, stay healthy and blessed.
