We survived the storm yesterday and last night. We did get 4 3/4 inches of rain. Tina brought home sand bags and we placed them in front of the front door as the water was covering the door mat and heading up the small step wanting to enter. The sand bags held it back. That was the biggest thing here, so absolutely no complaints .

Milo didn’t like all the rain and the flooding aspect. So, he stayed upstairs, coming down to eat and use the litter box, then right back upstairs., Sierra didn’t mind the weather at all. She likes her new fluffy bed so laid in it most of the day, waiting for a bird to fly by or a bug or something. The birds did oblige her every so often. I was shocked that they came out and ate out of the bird feeder. The doves even waded in the water.

Today I did what I thought I was going to do, ……..The laundry. And I fixed a roast with veggies, and tuna salad. We have a busy schedule for the rest of the week so having meals prepared will help, I hope. Besides, it is fun to cook occasionally.

Have a great rest of your day. Make it special, make it fun, make it relaxing

Blessings
