A beautiful late fall day. We had a slight shower, enough to wet the sidewalk. Not bad at all. The sunset was gorgeous but didn’t get the camera fast enough to take a picture. Maybe tomorrow.

Many years ago a girl I worked with would give each of the ladies in our office a story, or part of a story. At first we thought it silly but soon came to look forward to the next work day and story. I am now going to start sharing with you, I hope you come to enjoy these as much as we did.

It’s Christmas! Merry Christmas!

Yes, ti’s merry, merry Christmas,

it’s time for hanging stockings,

it’s time for riding sleighs,

it’s time for jolly greetings, snow and holly, overeating,

oh, how I love you merry Christmas,

You’re the best of holidays.

May your day bring on the feelings of a true Christmas feeling, not the commercial jingle jangle of a cash register.
