HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY! THE WEARING OF THE GREEN! CORNED BEEF & CABBAGE! A MUG OF ALE!
There is a St. Patty’s Day parade downtown Knoxville this evening, but we will stay home and stay dry. I think they will show parts of it on the news tomorrow morning. I have seen where some folks will dress their dogs up and take them to the parade. Poor Puppies. I am sure they would rather stay home without the green paraphernalia.
It has been a busy week and a busy day. Today was catch up on all I didn’t get done during the week. I have my stories done, the basic cleaning done, and all the other little things that I put off until “tomorrow”. It is nice to get it done and have the weekend free to do whatever.
Tomorrow we will go to Karns, Ace Hardware, Dottie’s, Cosco, and Tammy and Jerry’s for chili and to watch the fights. We are rooting for Bryan to win!!. This fight is in London England. I wonder if any of the Royals will attend the fight? More on that Monday.
Tina is bringing pizza home for dinner so I don’t have to cook, or do dishes. I think she is stopping at the theater and buying popcorn. That will be our snack while we watch TV this evening. Sounds like a lovely way to spend a rainy Friday evening.
Quote of the day: ” Life is an adventure. Hang on to your hat and scream for all you’re worth!!!” My calendar.
Have a wonderful rest of your St. Patties Day. Make it a safe, cheerful, enjoyable and fun evening and weekend.
Blessings
