Another rainy Monday, very cool, 59 degrees at 6:09 p.m. We had a mostly cloudy, rainy cool weekend. Friday was wind, thunder, and lightening, all sorts of warnings and watches crossing over the TV and radio as well as the phone. Here we got the wind, thunder and lightening and lots of rain. I tried to stay away from the computer and TV, and the phone due to lightening. So, I hope that this week is a bit better as far and the lightening and wind are concerned. The lightening and thunder were so loud and ominous sounding that Sierra got in my lap and I put the throw over her. She couldn’t of gotten any closer. I have never seen her act like that.

Today was bible study, and it was good. We are now on chapter 17 in Revelations. It is an in depth study and very interesting. I am so amazed at how much it refers to the old testament and the people in those books. I now can connect the dots to some of the people and events. Both past and present, so to speak. Daniel is one of the go to books, and Exodus is another one. Very interesting, and makes one stop and think, and wonder why people don’t believe in God.

Saturday we made a quick trip into Publix’s for groceries. We both like that store as it is clean, well stocked, comparable prices to Kroger’s and Walmart. Also none of the out dated products, or very close to outdated. We will go back there for the majority of our groceries with just the daily needs bought here, bread, milk, etc.

Then we stopped at Ross’s for something and I found Sierra a new bed. She likes it as she has been in it most of the day. I got something else I needed but it must not be very outstanding as I can’t remember what it was. Anyhow, then home before the next big rain hit. WE just made it.

Sunday we did church on line and really didn’t do much of anything. I kept my leg up quite a bit and Tina rested her arm a whole lot. Today she went to PT and he said that she should stretch it , like reach across the table for things, etc. She needs to be able to lift her arm up above her head. She has tears in the long muscle and a couple small ones in the rotator cup.

Wah’s House Hold Hint: “To ease cleaning the grill after barbecuing or broiling in the oven, sprinkle detergent over the still warm grill rack or broiling pan. Cover with wet paper towels. When cleaning time comes, there is no bother with scrubbing.

Today is the first day of May. The fifth month of the year. And what a year it has been so far. Our President has completed his 100 days in office and started, changed and got rid of all sorts of rules, laws, and people. He has added new rules, laws, and people. Some, of not most of the changes are for the best, Some, maybe not, and a bunch are “wait and see”.

Today we have had a variety weather wise. Rain, wind, sunshine, clouds, and warmth. Right now, at 5:04 p.m., it is 76 degrees and sunny. No complaints here. Dottie was out and she said that it sprinkled on her all the way home. Tina said that it sprinkled on her all the way to work this morning. We had a good rain shower this morning, then dark clouds, and then sunshine, and a mixture of clouds and sun.

The $5.00 once a year sale is being held at the Methodist Hospital today and tomorrow. Dotty and I went and enjoyed shopping and looking. We each bought a few things and said that it was great and we will attend again next year, The Good Lord Willing. Tina came down and met us for lunch. The food there was pretty good. A great couple of hours.

Not a great deal of news around here today. No one has been out cutting trees or mowing, etc. Of course, I was gone part of the day so may have something. Just a normal, quiet, nice day which is perfect.

Wah’s House Hold Hints: ” To remove rug stains like blood, mildew,etc. Soak with cold water, then heavily covering it with cornstarch. Leave it on to dry completely, then vacuum up. It doesn’t harm the carpet.”
