Today is another cloudy, muggy, warm day. As of now, no rain, but it is very humid so the plants and grass must get some moisture from the heavy air. The temperature is 85 degrees, which isn’t all that bad, but would be better with less humidity. It is 3:05 p.m. so still time for the temperature to heat up a bit.

Yesterday my computer didn’t want to do the blog. I kept trying to bring it up and it would go right back to BING and al the stuff that it shows. I finally gave up. I wasn’t sure that today would be much better as Tina said that the power was iffy at some of the buildings by the hospital and generators were being used. I tried to call PT and there was 1 ring, then nothing. Very weird. Here it all seems to be well.

That being said, it was a good weekend. My car now runs. It was the battery. I was very thankful that it was just the battery and not something worse. I have to confess, the car is just 15 years old, not 25 as it is a 2010. I hope it will run another 15 years with no major problems. The old battery (14 months old) wasn’t good. It had problems. The new one is good. It has a 3 year warranty so that is good.

Tina was on call and ended up working Sunday from 6:30 am.m. until 3:30 p.m. while she was at work I went to church. We had the greeter duty and I felt that it was important for me to be there as one greeter is better then non-greeter. It is enjoyable seeing everyone and saying hi and how are you. the little kids that come in with their parents are so cute. One little boy had on a shark tee shirt. He told me that this is Shark Week!

Saturday, after the car got its new battery, we went to Walmart and bought the necessary items. A filter for the fridge ice and water despencer, filters for the HVAC, a J ring so Tina can hang up her pulley for her arm therapy, etc. and a couple of grocery items. The filters were the main thing. those filters don’t last more then about two to three months. The air ones last two months and maybe tow and a half months. The fridge one a bit longer. Now to get them put in.

I believe I already told about the Senior Fair and how fun that was. That was the highlight of the weekend. Today has been just working on cleaning off my desk and writing my stories. I had two to do as I got behind. Actually I had to think about one of them before writing. And with my furry secretary helping me, it can be challenging.

Now I need to do some housework. I didn’t get the stove wiped down good last evening so need to go clean it good. It is a glass top stove and very challenging to keep clean. it isn’t perfect but I try and keep it as clean and smooth as possible.
