A beautiful sunny, warm July afternoon. There is a slight breeze, with the temperature of 90 degrees at 3:23 p.m. Today has been a good day for the birds and the squirrels as I have seen them at the bird feeders and checking the grounds for dropped seeds. I believe they don’t enjoy the high humidity and heat either as we have only seen the birds in the evenings.

Today has been busy as I cleaned the living room. that included moving all the furniture and vacuuming and mopping and dusting. the room looks very nice and comfortable this afternoon as the new chairs are in place and just waiting for the two ladies of the house to sit in them, relax, and enjoy the evening TV program(s). Yes, they recline and one even rocks. No, they don’t look alike, but they do fit each of these shrinking senior ladies. Maybe I should say three as Sierra has briefly tried each one, then left for the couch in the back TV room.

Tomorrow I go to the knee doctor in Knoxville and see if my knee has healed properly. I had chipped it when I fell in April. I really can’t tell if it has or not since doing PT all the exercises make everything “hurt”. At least for a while. And that is the day after, not the same day. Tina is taking me so she will go to work for a couple of hours, then come and get me, we will go to the doctor, then she will bring me home. She is looking at back surgery in October and is trying to accumulate time for that. Also to be able to take a day here and there, when the weather cools down, to do day trips. She so wants to go to Cades Cove and see the bears, etc. So this weekend we will go to Knoxville and “play”.
