BLUE SKIES, SLIGHT BREEZE AND HAPPY BIRDS

Thursday, March 3, 2022 Breezy Clear No Clouds 77 degrees 4:59 p.m.

Such a beautiful day to be outside in the yard, pulling a few weeds and cleaning the car port, ridding it of the leaves that have blown in from across the turnpike or other trees in our area. The breeze is pretty stiff right now so will probably find more leaves in the car port in the morning. We will enjoy sweeping them up and discarding them as it is to be as warm tomorrow. And it is still winter!

Heard on the news this morning that some of President P;s tanks went joy riding instead of crashing into the city they are supposed to take over. And some of the soldiers refused to kill some of the Ukrainian army so just ignored them. What a mess. I hope and pray that this will end swiftly and as peacefully as possible. I dislike hearing the news because it is all that and I can’t do anything about it but pray.

Since spring is just around the corner, I am starting the spring cleaning. I cleaned out my closet today and have a big bag to go to Karns. That is an accomplishment.. Milo and Sierra helped and seemed to enjoy the task. Will have to see what I can accomplish tomorrow. Now it is dinner time so to the kitchen I must go,

Have a great rest of your day. Make it beautiful, cheerful and fun.

ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL DAY IN TENNESSEE

Wednesday, March 2, 2022 Setting Sun Blue skies, 70 Degrees 6:11 p.m.

Today was so warm and nice. Being outdoors was invigorating. The birds are building nests in the Cedar (Bird Condo) and one can tell spring is right around the corner. Diana is starting her garden and Bryan is training for his upcoming fight towards the end of the month. All is good.

Not a lot of news around here. Both Tina and I went to the “back doctor this afternoon. Her a follow=up after the shots he out in. Mine was a followup from the shots he put in in November. We both are going to have to have them again. they work until we feel fine and go do something silly,, like rearrange the furniture. (me) and she derided to paint the inside of the upper kitchen cabinets. This time I will work harder at behaving myself.

Dinner was good this evening. Crackpot cube steak with rice, gravy and french cut green beans. A simple meal but filling and very tasty. Desert will be strawberry short cake, using angel food cake. Water to drink. After desert I will do the dishes. Tina did the cooking so I will do the dishes.

The house is clean so I do believe tomorrow will be laundry day. It will be the first day that I am home all day and that is important in order to get it all done, washed, dried and put away. Oh, the excitement of it all.

Have a great rest of you Wednesday. Make it a prosperous, productive, pleasant, and fun day.

MARCH 1, 2022, SPRING IS NEAR

Tuesday, March 1, 2022 Sunny, Windy Blue Skies 64 degrees 5:08 p.m.

A beautiful day for March 1st. True, it came in with the wind blowing, but the sun is shining and nary a cloud in the sky. People are out walking their dogs and the birds have been flying around, singing and enjoying the beautiful weather. The nice weatherman is saying that today is the meteorological first day of spring. But it is still winter. Are high by Sunday will be 75 degrees. Possibly rain on Monday.

Today, I believe is Fat Tuesday. It is also called Pancake day. It is the last day before Ash Wednesday. The Marti Grass is a French holiday and celebrated here in the United States, mostly in New Orleans with a big parade It is defiantly party time there. They bake a cake with a plastic baby inside it.

We had an early dinner before Tina went to work, Grilled chicken, mashed potatoes gravy corn (her favorite) and for desert, a cookie. Next, for me, is a lite meal, probably a sandwich and some fruit. Her hours are so mixed up we can’t have a normal dinner time, so we try to eat between noon and 3 p.m. with just a lite snack in the evening. Today we ate at 11:00 so my snack might be a bit more then normal. What ever normal is.

There really isn’t much news around here so I had better go feed the starving cats. One would think that they hadn’t eaten for days, but they have dry food in their feeder at all times as well as water. they get treats once or twice during the day and breakfast and dinner so know they are not starving. I guess eating is a habit with them.

Have a great rest of your Tuesday. Make it a bright, shining, energetic, playful and fun day.

MONDAY.FEBRUARY 28, 2022

An areal view of Oak Ridge TN

Monday, February 28, 2022 Sunny Windy Chilly 57 Degrees 6:31 p.m.

The sun has set but that was the high today, and it was sunny. a very pretty day, especially after all the rain and clouds. this is the first totally sunny day since last week sometime, or the week before. A beautiful Day.

I was a good weekend. Saturday we went and got our nails done at a different nail place. They spoke ENGLISH and were very good, gentle, throural, clean and nice. We will go back for sure. Since Tina had to work from 5:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., the nails was our outing. the rest of the day was home and TV and early to bed. She earlier then me.

Sunday , after lunch, we met Jerry and Tammy at the Oak Ridge theater. We all wanted to see DOG as we thought it would be funny, a comedy. It was f good movie with a good story line, but not a comedy. There were some funny spots in it, but also some dad spots. I recommend it , but not for small children.

Today was a long day. First thing was a zillion birds swooping and landing in the cedar tree, then swooping and landing on the grass. So interesting and so pretty. Sharon thinks that they were waxwing grosbeaks. Very interesting and fun to watch.

Then I had the cardiologist doctor appointment, so went there and that took an hour. After that we had lunch, then back there again for a echo cardiogram. That took about 45 minutes. Then a stop at Kroger’s and home. Dottie took me so it was a long day for her and Max also. When we got here, Max went straight to the water bowl and drank and drank and drank. He had a dish of water in the car but I guess this tasted better. When we got here we made birthday cards. Shortly after she left Tina got home, so it was a full day.

Now it is TV time, relaxing time. I am ready. Have a great rest of your Monday. I hope that it is a happy, busy, smiling and fun day.

Blessings
