Wednesday, October 25, 2023 Sunny Breezy Cool 75 degrees 2:07 p.m.

I had every intention of doing my blog first thing in the morning. Then, as I was reminded by my Reno daughter-in-law, that people on the west coast are still in bed sleeping at that hour, so will wait and do it a bit later. I forget some people have their e-mail on their phones and their phones right by the bed. I am sorry if I woke anyone.

Today has been a quiet day so far. Sierra was very nice and gave me a hairball during the night, on my bed of course. So this morning I was washing bedding. She only got it on the foot end of the blanket, but I washed both blankets and the throw so all is clean on my bed now.

I have been outside and it is nice and warm out there. In here, it is cool. I have the heater set at 70 degrees and it feels more like 60. We get very little sun this time of year, and being the middle Town Home, we don’t have a lot of windows. The rest of this week is supposed to be warm, then next week it is to be cooler, like in the low 60’s for the high. The heater will go up a dab, I do believe. Or else I will do a lot of cleaning to keep warm.

There is so much going on around this state that it is hard to make up one’s mind which event to attend, or craft show to attend, or whatever. I think we will stay home and do some things that need to be done around here this weekend. There is a big Craft show in Marysville this weekend but I am in hopes that the flooring came in and we can get the floors done, so will plan on staying home for that if for no other reason. The strikes are sure causing havoc all over the place.

Quote of the day: ” Getting a husband is like buying an old house. You don’t see it the way it is but the way it’s going to be when you get it remodeled.” My Calendar. Hmm, I never looked at it that way, but then, I got married 65 years ago. Things have changed in that length of time.

Have a great rest of your Monday. Make it a productive, adventurous, exciting, safe and fun day.

Blessings
