A beautiful first day of Fall in East Tennessee. The temperature is 70 degrees and the time is 2:07 p.m. It is windy but clear blue skies and comfortable temperatures.

The majority of the people in this part of the state are all excited to have cooler weather for their Saturday Collage Football game. This is a big game, the Tennessee Vols verses the Georgia Gators. They are rivals and each team practices hard. Fans have tail-gate parties today and tomorrow, prior to the game. Businesses are decked out in Vols colors of Orange and White, sweaters, scarves, tee shirts, sweat shirts, etc. This is a bit deal. Tina wore her Vols shirt and white slacks to work today. I believe all the employees dressed appropriately for the occasion. they were having a BBQ for lunch, tail-gate theme. This is the volunteer state.

As for me, I am getting my blog out this afternoon early as when Tina gets home we have to go to Tractor Supply for dry cat food. These poor kittens are down to crumbs of their favorite food. We will probably go to Berks afterwards and see if they have the office stuff that Tina is looking for. Maybe even 5 Below. I invited Tammy and Jerry to go to Tractor Supply with us, but they declined saying they were busy. He also said LOL. Tammy has to take her son groceries as he is not feeling well, and Finley had a vet’s appointment for a check-up. Jerry said he had a doctor’s appointment and also had things to do around the hours. I just don’t understand why they didn’t want to go cat food shopping.????

Now I need to get back to my household duties.

Quote of the day: I have a little red box with a little red button on it. If someone asks me what it’s for, I have to tell them, “whenever I push that button, absolutely nothing happens. It just keeps me humble!” From my calendar

Have a great rest of your Friday and a spectacularly glorious weekend. Make all safe, healthy, friendly, cheerful and fun.

WHICH QUEEN IS THIS?

Thursday, September 22, 2022 Mostly sunny Breezy Nice 77 degrees 6:16 p.m.

Fall will start here in close to three hours. but it has been perfect day. We started out quite warm, then, the afternoon has brought cooler temperatures. The weatherman said that we should be in the 40’s or 50’s tonight. So nice. Welcome Fall!

I have been busy working to restructure our craft room/office. We are looking at a sectional or a couch so, if we do purchase one, we need the perfect place to place it. I have found a few things that we have been looking for, have thrown a few things that needed to of gone a long time ago, and put thing back where they belonged. Once I get measurement I will use painter’s tape to mark out the space on the floor. No more buying a piece of furniture, get it home and find out it really doesn’t fit. We have done that too many times.

Yesterday, when Tina got home, we went to Hobby Lobby as she is looking for “cute things” to go in her cubical at work. I guess everyone has theirs decorated. She wants the stapler, tape dispenser , all pretty or in animal shape, etc. It will be fun to see what she comes up with. She said that they have pictures of family, pets, scenery, church things, etc. She is going to put up pictures of all her favorite dogs and cats. Our pets will be famous!

I have inherited the cooking since she went to work days. Tonight we had hamburger patties, mac and cheese and broccoli. It turned out really good and she ate two hamburgers. They weren’t large but sort of fat. There is strawberry jello with fresh strawberries in it for dessert. I think they have a tailgate party at work tomorrow as Saturday the Vols play the Gators football. I guess it will be a biggie.

Mayor Bill’s cruse has been cancelled due to the hurricane that is headed to Canada and the places they were sailing to. That is sad as they were so looking forward to this trip. Better safe then sorry.

Have a great rest of your Thursday. Make it a safe, healthy, gleeful and fun day.

SO PRETTY

Tuesday, September 20, 2022 Very warm Still Sunny 89 degrees 6:06 p.m.

Today was very summery, hot and still and a bit humid or should I say muggy. I understand that

Thursday will be the last day of heat. We will have a cold front come through in the afternoon bringing the temperature down into the 70’s. We shall see.

Today I have spent working on finding homes fro all the stuff we have collected here in our home office. Fall is right around the corner and we want to decorate for fall. Also, a sectional might be in our future and the rearranging will help if that does occur. I am looking forward to fall and all the good thngs that go with it.

Summer is still here. the roses are blooming like crazy and the trees are still holding on to their leaves. There are so many flowers blooming all over the place, making traveling, even to the store, very picturesque. Tina said that going to work in the morning it is so pretty, some places foggy, most places just green with shrubs and flowers and tons of grass.

since it has been a long day and I am ready to relax, this is it for today.

Have a great rest of your Tuesday. Make it a spectacular, sunny, bright and fun day,
