NOAH’S ARK LEVELS

Wednesday, October 27, 2021 Sunny Windy cool 63 degrees 5:02 p.m.

The above picture is of the ark, the inside layers, I think. There are many buildings and areas attached to the Ark property so this could be one of the other areas . What a great experience and it is massive as well as interesting.

did you know that God told Noah to build the Ark using these measurements: 300 cubits long, 50 cubits wide, and 30 cubits tall.? That is pretty big, I believe the size of three football fields. There sure was a lot in the ark so they needed all that room. They had animals, people, gardens, two of each kind of everything. I guess a pair of everything. So interesting.

It has been a beautiful day here, sunny and windy and fall like. It is cold in the house but nice outside in the sun. The weatherman says the starting tomorrow we will have rain for the next three days. We have our sand bags so hope we don’t have to use them but are ready if we do. I am hoping for a gentle rain and not a gully washer.

The trees are starting to turn and leaves are starting to fall, so soon we will be having to rake up all the across the street neighbors leaves. The leaves are so pretty and it makes the yards turn gold, red,, yellow, and orange. Really pretty. Fall flowers are in full bloom and the summer ones are slowly fading away, dying off. The grass still needs mowing at least every other week. I believe this goes until the first freeze. So far our low has been 38 degrees.

Have a wonderful rest of your Wednesday. Make it a profitable, prosperous, perfect, fun and gracious day.

LEVIATHAN DRAGON AS DESCRIBED IN THE BOOK OF JOB

Tuesday, October 26, 2021 Cloudy Slight breeze Chilly 59 degrees 4:46 p.m.

A chilly, cloudy day with no rain but still a bit damp outside. All is quiet in the neighborhood. No kids playing nor dogs being walked, nor birds singing and flying about. I think it is telling us that Fall is really here and time to get out the sweaters and jackets.

The above picture is of the Leviathan Dragon which is mentioned in the bible book of Job. According to what I have read in the book from the Creation Museum and from the Bible there were two dragons, the Leviathan and the Behemoth. Both are mentioned in the book of Job. The picture above came from BING , which has several different pictures of dragons. This one seemed to come the closest to what I read.

When we entered the museum we walked down this long wide hall with pictures and plaques along both sides of the walls There were pictures and information about each dragon and if it was a true dragon or a dinosaur. Most are dinosaurs . It said that not all dragons could be called dinosaurs. but all dinosaurs could of been dragons. Some reptiles are mistakenly called dinosaurs. Dinosaurs have legs directly under the body and are land dwelling animals. Dimetrodon (legs out to the side); Plesiosaurs )marine reptiles) and Pterosaurs (flying reptiles) are some of the differences. The word Dinosaurs was coined in 1841 so people around the world wouldn’t of call them that prior to then.

The day has been spent with a bit of housework and some computer work and a few games on the computer, reading and a nap. Now it is time to think about dinner and dishes and the evening TV programs. I will, while watching TV, cut the name and address off the front of magazines and catalogues before getting rid of them. Our neighbor calls us the queens of catalogues as we seem to get tons of them each week. Today we got one on horses clothing and jewelry and household things. A cute catalogue but not interested.

In answer to yesterday’s question, one lady said she paid $4.24 a gallon a week ago.. I wonder what it is today?

In view of rising prices at the grocery store, how much food and household necessities have you stockpiled? (month’s worth).

Have a super fun rest of your day. Keep it a pleasant, profitable, kind, friendly day.

Blessings

THE CREATION MUSEUM IS FANTASTIC

Monday, October 25, 2021 rainy turning to sunny breezy Beautiful Fall weather 71 degrees 6:07 p.m.

It is nice to be back and will start to tell you about the Ark and the Museum. It was a great experience and one that I recommend to all. I found both places a well presented and displayed. All was very interesting and educational for all ages. Both places can be checked out on Google There you will find many pictures of each place.

The Ark is build according to the demolitions given in Genesis. There are three floors and several displays on each floor. The art work, the stature, the plaques and wording was awesome. Most everything looked very life like. Even the animals portrayed there looked real.

There are several snack areas and a restaurant in each place and the book stores and gift shops are wonderful. No, I didn’t buy much but looked a lot. There were tons of people everywhere so I didn’t feel like fighting the crowd to stand in line for to much. I also had an electric scooter and that hampered the looking and grabbing things. I am hoping I can go on line and get a few things that I would like to have.

Both places have small zoos which we enjoyed and both places have wonderful gardens and walking paths that are so nice and tranquil. We enjoyed them at each place.

Sunday Tina, Tammy, Dottie and I had a “Sip and Paint” afternoon. Dottie bought canvases with paints, brushes and pictures to trace on the canvas for the for the four of us so thought we would see how they would be. it was fun and we all did very well. Even mine turned out not to bad. We will do it again in the near future and watch the instructor on TV and paint the pictures. That should be interesting.

More of this tomorrow with a little more detail on the Ark.

My question for the day is: How much are you paying for gas ? Here it is $3.19 per gallon, or more. Kentucky was less at $ 2.89.

THIS IS THE GROUNDS WHERE NOAH’S ARK IS. THEY SAY IT TAKES 5 TO 6 HOURS TO TOUR IT ALL.

Monday, October 18, 2021 Sunny, Slight breeze, 70 degrees Beautiful fall day 4:51 p.m.

How was your weekend? I hear it is very fall like in Las Vegas area and a bit of winter-ish in the Reno area. I am sure that Lake Havasu is beautiful about now, just right temperature and not overly crowded.

Here, we have been getting ready for our three day vacation. The car is gassed up, tires rotated, oil changed, the windows, and the whole car washed and cleaned and looking good. The suit cases are out and the clothes to take are laid out ready to put in the suit case. The cats are curious and sticking close to the action. They seem to sense that something is going on. The neighbor, Charles, is going to come in and feed them so they will be taken care of. They have the automatic cat box so their ;litter will be taken care of without anyone having to pooper scoop while we are gone. Nice!

Last Friday I had the MRI on my shoulder and arm. Today I visited the doctor to hear what the results were. He said I was a bit of a medical marvel. According to the MRI, I shouldn’t be able to use my arm much at all and I should be in pain. But, I can use my arm quite well, just can’t reach to far up my back. He said that I have 4 tears in the rotercup and my muscles there are in a tight “fist”. I feel fine and so think maybe that the MRI was someone else’s and not mine. He said no. So, I am fine and will continue doing “my thing” without surgery or anything else. He will keep an eye on me and check it out every so often. Should I ever have to have surgery on that it would be a complete replacement of the shoulder ball thing. I am in good shape for the shape I’m in.

Now it is time to pack and get everything ready to go first thing in the morning. This will be the last Blog until probably Thursday or Friday. I will try and do my tablet but am not sure how that will work. I will take lots of pictures and share.

Have a super rest of your day and the week. Be safe, healthy, positive, productive, kind, caring, and have fun.

Blessings
